Brownsword Hotels (winner of Hotel Group of the Year 2018) are a group of 13 luxury hotels in historic buildings around the South of the UK – from deepest Devon to chic Chelsea. Each hotel is a one-off, brimming with character, history and charm. Whilst the Brownsword-owned Abode Hotel suite offer modern city-centre stays for young professionals.
We were tasked with creating a staff engagement brand that united the two hotel chains with a common tone of voice and look that would appeal to a young team of hospitality professionals – from maids to managers. Our solution stems from Brownswords’ history as a family run business – using a family tree inspired graphic language paired with a diverse iconography and playful tone of voice.
